About Renee Bailey

Women's Health & Menopause Nutritionist Brisbane

Hello, I'm Renee Bailey, a Brisbane-based Certified Practicing Nutritionist (CPN), I am dedicated to helping all patients improve their health, wellbeing, and quality of life through evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine.

I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition), a Graduate Certificate in Sexology and am currently completing a Master of Sexology (Professional) at Curtin University. My areas of special interest include women's health, perimenopause, menopause, hormonal health, sexual health and wellbeing, gut health, metabolic health, mental wellbeing, and healthy ageing.

My passion for supporting women through perimenopause and menopause is deeply personal. At the age of 40, I experienced early menopause and spent the next five years consulting with 16 different doctors before finally finding a practitioner who listened, understood my symptoms, and provided appropriate treatment, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Like many women, I found myself navigating a confusing and often frustrating healthcare journey while experiencing symptoms that affected my energy, sleep, mood, weight, confidence, relationships, and overall quality of life. I understand firsthand how isolating it can feel when you know something isn't right but struggle to find answers and support.

That experience not only changed my life but also shaped my professional mission. It fuelled my commitment to helping women feel heard, understood, and empowered with evidence-based information and personalised care. My goal is to ensure that women have access to the knowledge, support, and practical strategies they need to thrive through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

I am recognised as a Certified Practising Nutritionist by the Australasian Association and Register of Practising Nutritionists (AARPN) and am a committee member of the Nutrition Society of Australia (Brisbane Regional Group). I am also a member of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM), a Clinical Member of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research (ISNPR), and a member of the Sexology Association of Australia.

Before transitioning into clinical nutrition, I spent more than 15 years in corporate leadership and management roles while successfully building and operating small businesses. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation of the competing demands many women face while balancing careers, family responsibilities, relationships, and their own health.

My approach is centered on identifying and addressing the underlying drivers of health concerns rather than simply managing symptoms. I take a whole-person, multidisciplinary approach to healthcare, working collaboratively with GPs, specialists, psychologists, physiotherapists, exercise professionals, and other allied health practitioners to support the best possible outcomes for my clients.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Every patient is unique, and their health journey should be too. Whether you are experiencing menopause, weight gain, fatigue, poor sleep, hormonal changes, digestive issues, anxiety, low mood, chronic disease, or simply want to optimise your health and wellbeing, I take the time to understand your individual circumstances and create a personalised plan tailored to your goals.

My mission is simple: to help patients feel stronger, healthier, more confident, and in control of their health at every stage of life.
